I divided the shopping 'department' in Danau Kota into 4 main parts: woman, man, children and others.
Below are the basic description of each 'department' found at the night market;
Woman
Can be hailed as the largest 'department' in Danau Kota. The merchandises that could be found ranges from clothing, make-ups, accessories and perfumes. Here we could find a vast variety of apparels which not only cheaper in price but also standard quality as the ones in our usual normal shopping malls. The latest trends in fashion usually hit the night market first before they go to those boutiques such as the shawls and scarfs donned by Muslim ladies nowadays. So, ladies, pack up your handbag and be prepared to all night window shopping!!
Man
Men can also found almost all kinds of merchandise here, from clothing, accessories and perfumes. Here we could find t-shirts with unique printed message that are not so easy or daresay couldn't be found in shopping malls. For those budget cautious, there are also bundle clothes to choose from.
Children
There a lot of kids stuffs to be found here. From toys to clothing. Boys can meet or even be like their favourite superheroes - Ben 10, Batman, Superman, Ultraman and many more. Girls may indulge in their dreams to become like the Disney's Princesses - Cinderella, Snow White, etc. or play with the adorable Hello Kitty! or Sesame's Street's Elmo. Parents, be prepared to entertain your children's squealing and jumping around... ;P
Others
Refers to other stuffs that may or may not cross related with the other 3 'departments'. Here you can buy mobile phone accessories, both the original and imitation; provided you know how to tell or detect the difference... Stuffs related to hobbies can also be found here. If you are an outdoor junkie, you can buy Swiss knives, lanterns, tents, compasses, all those camping equipment and even inflatable boat! Home decos and kitchen wares can also be found here... For those who loves pets, they even have flying squirrel for sale!
